Terms of sale and delivery
Below you will find useful information in connection with using online booking. You can read about how we process your entered information, how you receive your receipt in connection with a purchase and much more. When BAMSEBO is written below, it is used as a synonym for Bamsebo Camping, Canoeing and Fishing at Gudenåen
Special requests for space
BAMSEBO reserves the right to change the specific booking requests that the customer has, but will, to the greatest extent possible, strive to ensure that the allocated space is located in the same area as the requested space.
Payment
All prices stated in the BAMSEBO online booking system, like everywhere else on the website, are stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all taxes unless otherwise stated and clearly stated in the situation in question.
Payment is made using one of the approved debit/credit cards in online booking, including Dankort, Visa, MasterCard and Diners. There is no fee charged for transactions made through online booking.
Information about online trading.
You can safely shop online through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are basically protected against any misuse of your credit card online, so there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the internet. Shipping and delivery
When booking and paying for a cabin, a rental tent, a place for your own tent, or a place for your own caravan, you will be presented with a contract from BAMSEBO, which includes the accounting for your purchase. The contract can be printed from the website after booking, and is also sent via email immediately after purchase, if the correct email address is provided by the buyer.
Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at BAMSEBO on the day of arrival (and ends upon departure on the day of departure). Both of these times are stated in the above-mentioned contract.
Right of withdrawal and refund
You have the option to cancel your booking under the following conditions:
Booking stays at campsites are not covered by the Consumer Agreements Act's right of withdrawal, as renting out temporary log cabins for holiday purposes is exempt, cf. Consumer Agreements Act $ 18, subsection 2, clause 12.
A confirmed booking cannot be cancelled and/or changed by the renter.
- If cancelled more than 60 days before arrival, the deposit will be refunded, less a fee of DKK 350, however deposits under DKK 400 will not be refunded.
- If you cancel less than 60 days before arrival, you will lose the entire amount paid.
- The booking cannot be transferred to a third party and cannot be rebooked. Any shortening of the stay and/or cancellation of persons does not entitle you to claim compensation.
The customer is not released from payment of the rent if, due to force majeure (war, strike, natural disasters, epidemic, closure of borders, etc.), the customer is prevented from exercising the right of use that the customer has according to the booking.
Registration of information
BAMSEBO registers your name, address, email and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer database. The information is not disclosed, but BAMSEBO retains the registration for 5 years.
BAMSEBO uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the site.
When paying by credit card, registration takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet.
Complaints handling
If for some reason you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address or telephone number below.
Complaints about the booking process, the booking itself or the product (stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error by normal review of your contract. You can complain in writing or orally. One year after receipt of the goods (stay), the right to complain ceases in accordance with Section 83, subsection 1 of the Danish Sales Act, unless otherwise agreed.
When BAMSEBO receives your complaint about a product, the complaint will be processed as soon as possible. BAMSEBO will decide whether the received product should be refunded, exchanged or whether a price reduction should be given.
