Bamsebo Camping is a quiet family campsite with an idyllic location right by the Gudenå River between Silkeborg and Randers. The campsite officially opened in 1961 – at that time under the name Gudenådalens Camping. Henry Brink, who bought the farm and the fields, bought it from a family where the husband and wife were called Bamsefar and Bamsemor in the local community, and when Henry Brink opened the campsite he gave it the nickname “Bamsebo”.
